    Morningstar rolled out Direct AI on 7 October with three agents for asset managers, distributors and due-diligence teams. The product development agent reads fund flows for categories with strong demand and few competitors. That's a good question to ask. Once every issuer can ask it, though, the answer stops being an edge and becomes a signal everyone sees.
